Full Face Protocol
1. How does Blue Door decide if BBL is the right protocol for me versus something else?
Your Blueprint consultation includes skin analysis, Fitzpatrick classification, medical history review, contraindication screening, and treatment mapping. This comprehensive assessment determines where you enter the Five-Tier Skin Architecture System and which protocol best addresses your specific concerns. BBL may be recommended on its own, combined with other treatments, or deferred in favor of a different tier.
2. Does Blue Door use the same BBL device as other clinics?
Blue Door uses the Sciton Joule platform with BBL HEROic - the same manufacturer and technology used by other high-end providers. What differentiates Blue Door is not the device but the consultation-driven, Blueprint-based approach to treatment planning and the integration within a five-tier skin architecture ecosystem.
3. Can I book BBL as a standalone, or does it always need to be part of a plan?
Blue Door's sales strategy is package-driven. While single sessions are available (CAD $600), the standard offering is the Architectural Plan (3 sessions, CAD $1,650). The consultation determines whether a single session, series, or integrated plan is right for you.
4. I've heard BBL can "de-age" skin at the gene expression level. Is that real?
Yes. Blue Door's documentation states: "BBL has clinical data supporting gene expression rejuvenation - regular treatments help skin behave biologically younger." This aligns with published research suggesting BBL can influence gene expression patterns associated with skin aging.
5. At what age should I start BBL if I'm interested in longevity-forward skin care?
Blue Door maps BBL HEROic to clients broadly in the 30–65 range. For younger clients focused on prevention, MOXI (designed for the 25–45 demographic) may be recommended first. Your Blueprint consultation will determine the right entry point based on your current skin condition and goals.
6. Can BBL support a more refined skin texture?
Yes. BBL stimulates collagen production, which supports improved skin firmness and elasticity. Blue Door also offers SkinTyte (infrared skin tightening) as a dedicated service for laxity concerns that can complement BBL.
7. What makes Blue Door's approach to BBL different from other clinics or medspas?
Blue Door does not sell "laser facials." They sell Skin Architecture & Cellular Rejuvenation Protocols. Every BBL session is a calculated step in a personal Blueprint informed by comprehensive clinical assessment. The consultation-first, package-driven, architecture-based approach is fundamentally different from clinics that sell BBL as a standalone, walk-in service.
8. Can BBL help reduce the appearance of uneven tone and dark spots?
Yes. BBL targets pigment as one of its core mechanisms. The treatment helps reduce uneven tone and the appearance of acne scars, which includes post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
9. Will BBL support long-term skin clarity?
Both
10. Can BBL help with localized blemishes along the jawline and chin?
Yes. BBL is described as "especially effective in women who experience localized acne on their chins" and for "adult hormonal acne for men and women." The chin and jawline are common areas addressed during a Full Face treatment.
